A few years ago I was lucky enough to be seated next to Taiye at her best friends birthday dinner party. We hit it off straight away talking about boys, Europe, writing, boys, dreams, plans and more boys!! She was over in NYC visiting from Italy where she was busy writing a screen play with said bestie and working on a novel…. Cut to 2013 and not only is she still beautiful, talented driven and smart she is also now fast becoming a very very VERY VEEEERRYY successful writer! Last month she started her world tour to promote her first book “Ghana must go” published by Penguin. We caught up in NYC a few weeks ago, where she touched down for literally “5 minutes” before being whisked away again to some press junket in some far off land….
